Has anyone seen a decent WP photo gallery site? Andrew Heatherington's is the closest I've seen to a decent one but I feel it is still too busy. Any suggestions?
thanks

I have been on a similar search and came across this site.
http://www.lincolnbarbour.com/
It's a little busy in some areas for me but I like his blog area.

I have a blog on wordpress http://devaulphotography.wordpress.com. I renewed my website on Sitewelder for another year, but I may think about having a website through them next year. I tried to keep my blog very simple and clean looking.

Rob here is another WP template company http://www.prophotoblogs.com/
I found it looking at http://ian.mb.ca/blog/ and liked the way Ian had setup his site.
Do you use Slide Show Pro on your site now?
Is that why you are looking to change?

All my blogs (six, plus my front page) are WordPress. The theme is Panorama, which I especially like because I have it set to rotate the banner photo at the top every time the page is refreshed. There are tons of cool free WordPress themes that would be good photo sites, either vanity (like mine) or for sales. -R

Thanks guys
I ended up going for
http://www.gallyapp.com/tf_themes/kin_wp/
and my html guy will be modifying it for me.
I'm changing from SSP because I wanted to have larger images, smacking the viewer as soon as they get to the site. As well, I also wanted the ability to change headings and just generally have more flexibility than I do now.
Hopefully the site will be done in the next few days.

This is also a good product -

http://www.photocrati.com/

It's a wordpress blog specifically for photographers but it's not free and you'd need a webhost for it.

Graph Paper Press has a few interesting layouts. I think it depends upon how it is customized, so I still worked with a designer on my site, which reminds me I am behind on uploading images.

There are a few free layouts, though most are pay to use. They also have a hosting set-up, though you could install one of their packaged layouts on another host server.

I concur with Gordon, this is something I am after for my next site as well. Simply as it integrates most useful web stuff in one site and also gets picked up by google rather well.....a no brainer for me really.
