I have a client (large beverage company) that wants to do 13
billboards with my image here in California for 6 months.

Fotoquote is saying this:

6 months for 1 display: $3,097 (high price)
6 months for 5-25 display: $4,645 (high price)

This is what I dont get. There saying 1 for $3,097 and 25 for $4,645
or is it $4,645 x the # of displays being between 5 and 25?

I was thinking 13 displays for $10,000 (that is around $770.00 per billboard).

Your take?

It would make no sense for multiple billboards to cost more per billboard than one.

Billboards come in sizes from 6 sheets to 96 sheets or more. That too should be factored in the pricing structure. Your price for one indicates that this is a large billboard.

Typically billboards don't go up as much per billboard as you might expect, but the difference you're getting between one an 25 seems a bit modest.

My calculator, Photo Price Guide, would have me charging $4,560 for 10-19 locations, six months, within a single state, for a full-sized billboard. 20-49 locations would be $7,695.

It would be simpler to find out their placement cost per billboard, and then go from that. So you get the rate per months, times the number of months. Then take that figure, and calculate 5% of that as your rate to them. Anyway, that's just a suggestion.
