I have been playing around with calotypes and here are a couple from the other day.
One of me, shot with strobe, and one of my assistant in daylight.
The one of me is with a 7' octalight with 1200w/s of Profoto going through it. It is about 18" off my shoulder, giving me a reading of f5.6 @ 5 asa. The other was on the rooftop and was a 2 second exposure @ f4.7.

Even as an old film dude, I know nothing of this process

Basically its just shooting 4x5 or any format with b&w paper loaded. I'm using the Harman Direct Positive paper which gives me a 4x5 print after running it through the usual b&w chemistry.

You mean you are just loading B/W paper into regular 4x5 holders? What's the ISO on that?
