What do you find yourself spend on maintenance of your gear and studio (annually)? If no studio, just list gear. Including printing equipment, if applicable.

Please also include what type of photography you specialize in.

Or do you find yourself replacing more than maintaining when something gets damaged or worn?

Reasonably, one would assume; enough to cover whatever it costs to get working again. So why do I care?: I find myself spending somewhere around $40per $1000 worth of gear on annual maintenance. Not sure if this is good, or do I need to take better care of things so they don't get damaged so much? Is this the "norm" ?

Oops. Wrong forum. Move as necessary please.

I have Profoto and Canon and have a 1300 sq ft studio and a home office with Mac and Epson equipment. I shoot commercial and advertising images and steer clear of pretty much anything else. I would say that I spend around $1000 a year in maintenance and repairs. I'm doing my own sensor cleanings but sometimes I need camera/lens repairs and very rarely Profoto repairs.
