Hi

I have an original Canon Eos 1D Mk1 brought from a photographer whom i do some work for. The problem is I can charge the batteries for 24 hours or the recommend charger time (90 minutes), or until the red light turns green and after 2/3 shots the battery becomes critical. I am using a third party CD-BCNPE3 charger as the cannon ones sell for 200-300 (No that is right)!!

This happens across all my batteries, the thing is the charger and batteries used to work for a few months after the purchase but now not. One battery is new and the rest i got when i brought the camera, the problem is across all.

I have tried reinstalling the latest version of the camera firmware but to no avail. Any help or advice would be much appreciated. Or anywhere i could possibly get the genuine camera charger reasonable!

Thanks
Sam

As we all know very well that there are many photographer who are facing some problem regarding a battery life which is such a serious problem. So they should get repair it or replace it with a new one and also they should carry an another battery in their bag.

I think your battery backup is not a long term, you can change battery and use digipower CN6L Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery for your camera. It give a ensures reliability and long battery life and rechargeable lithium-ion battery are repeated use.
