I recently joined altpick.com and like many things about it.

One of the features I like is the 'just updated' spotlight on the front page. But some artists are taking advantage of it. I see the same 4 or 5 artists over and over everyday. Sometimes multiple times a day. It appears they are just making slight updates to keep their profile on the front page. Very annoying.

Should I just get over it?

You could try to update regularly yourself to stay fresh in mind, but these people who are doing multiple updates a week (much less a day!) will quickly be seen for the cheap tricks they are pulling.

In other words yes, get over them and what they do. You do what you think will benefit you.

I suggest updating no more often than once a week. Once a month is good.

Best--
