If you are on Facebook, take a careful look at what you are posting, they've quietly changed their terms of service to annex all usage rights and imply that you have given them release clearance for all licensing necessary for any use of the images they may come up with.

The Consumerist outlines the most pertinent info.
My favorite line is where they start with the topic of IP by saying: "We respect the IP rights of others and we prohibit users from Posting User Content that violates another party's IP rights." Then they proceed to do the exact opposite.

This just has to come back to bite them at some point. Somebody's going to get sued at some point and they are just taking too much of a lazy man's way to sourcing average joe content. How could anybody think they've gotten the legal ability to use personal family pictures for advertising purposes, when the vast majority of users would never have any ability or concern or need to get a release for those types of uses?
