Don't judge it by callbacks. They won't call you back.
But they may take a look at your site (if you remember to state your name clearly and leave your URL with them) and it builds recognition. The next time you call they may call you back or, if you reach them, recognize you and your work.
And some do answer their phones--I just reached (first try) an exec CD at one of the Limited companies a couple of weeks ago.
Calls are important, even though you mostly get VM. Oh, and NOT leaving a message is very, very bad form. Everyone has caller ID and they know who the hang-ups are. _________________ Leslie Burns
